Félix Santiago-Collazo

Principal Investigator

Félix Santiago-Collazo is an Assistant Professor in Resilient Infrastructure for Sustainability and Equity at the School of Environmental, Civil, Agriculture, and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Georgia. Felix holds an M.S. and B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University. Felix has a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license from the Puerto Rico Board and has more than eight years of experience in flood modeling. Felix’s research interests include Multi-flood hazard assessments, Hybrid infrastructure solutions, Water equity, and Flood Resilience. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, watching sports, biking, and walking his dog in his free time.

Dr. Santiago-Collazo is an affiliated faculty of the Institute for Resilient Infrastructures Systems and a CORE Faculty at the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute. He is the Environmental Engineering Subject Editor for the American Journal of Undergraduate Research
