Steven Charles

Hi, my name is Stevens, and I was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I graduated with my BS in Civil Engineering in Fall of 2022 from Florida International University (FIU) and am currently a master’s student majoring in Environmental Engineering at the University of Georgia. My main professor is Dr.Felix Luis Santiago Collazo, and I will be conducting research as a DUCKS unlimited fellow. As an undergraduate, I was involved in a program funded by the Department of Energy (DOE) called MSIPP, which allowed students a chance to conduct research alongside national labs. From this program, I was able to intern at Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory and Savannah River National Laboratory, where I was able to gain plenty of new experiences.  Some of my hobbies include listening to podcast/audiobooks, and anything active such as hiking or playing sports. I also love trying new things and expanding my comfort zone!
